I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy. I am an assistant to the pharmacist by completing tasks that do not require the professional judgement of the pharmacist. I am responsible for contacting doctors, contacting patients, maintaining inventory, inputting prescriptions, filling prescriptions, filing the scripts for our records, returning medications back to stock, dealing with problems that may arise with insurance, and solving pharmaceutical math.
