General Hospitality Experience:
The positions below reflect the varied experience I have gained in the leisure sector. Sometimes I have worked at a couple of different establishments at the same time. This has enabled me to refine my timekeeping and planning skills to ensure there were no overlaps which could have adversely affected the timetables of the different brands. Clear communication helped to avoid potential issues! Office Administrator: Bans Investments May 2018 - Aug 2018 During this short contract, I worked in many areas of administration: typing documents, printing information, scanning documents, sending emails and laminating information. I learnt many new transferable skills within this busy environment where I had to meet set deadlines. Due to the nature of this business, confidentiality was required at all times. This was a very exciting and interesting position where I broadened my knowledge and became able to add value to everyday tasks.
Waitress & Bar Tender: Riviera Pub & Grill Aug 2018 - Jan 2019 This establishment had a very busy bar and restaurant where my responsibilities extended to a number of different areas including taking orders, delivering food and beverages and dealing with any issues raised by customers. I had a positive and trusted relationship with both staff and customers. My duties also included handling cash and taking credit card payments. Waitress: Ocean Basket January 2019 - June 2019
Working at this well known brand of restaurants was another chance to learn new skills and refine my existing abilities using a range of equipment. In addition to serving customers and taking payments, I also helped prepare the restaurant for service and ensure strict hygiene levels were met throughout the open hours and also once the restaurant was closed. Working under the general guidance of the Manager, I helped to ensure that we were able to deliver a high standard of service and customer satisfaction, maintaining a visible presence to make sure that all customer requests and queries are responded to and dealt with promptly and effectively. This created a happy environment to which customers wanted to return. Waitress & Cashier: Delfono June 2019 - March 2020 Whilst working here, I developed my skills in customer focus whilst working within a strong team. Communication skills with both customers and fellow staff were crucial in order to serve food and drinks in a fast paced environment ensuring tables were quickly and hygienically prepared between sittings, maximising profitability whilst paying attention to individual customer requirements.
