SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

● Proper calibration and technical operation of various coating inspection equipment before and after each shift.
● Regular weather condition recording and monitoring prior to and during blasting, painting, fireproofing, and insulation.
● Verification of material mechanical hand over prior to approval for blasting, painting, fireproofing and insulation.
● Confirmation of material painting and insulation system as per latest isometric drawings and requests prior to execution.
● Overseeing daily Shop/yard blasting and coating inspection as well as at the erection site.
● Conduct surface preparation inspection such as, blotter test, blasting pressure test, surface profile test, dust level test, chloride level test, sharp edge treatment and surface cleanliness in accordance with Shell DEP, NACE International, ASTM, ISO and SSPC, ARAMCO and SABIC codes of standards.
● Execute coating inspection tests such as WFT/ DFT checking, Adhesion test, visual defects, Holiday test, and Hardness test as per International Standards, respectively.
● Review of underground line test package and make it ready prior to backfilling activities.
● Daily site monitoring and supervision to obtain quality, safety, and progress.
● Regular internal quality audit for blasting/painting shop and as well as on erection site.
