ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Contract Negotiations Successfully negotiated a price decrease of raw materials at $.05 per pound on 2.5 million pounds usage, saving the company $125,000 per year. An additional yearly savings of $80,000 was obtained through renegotiations of an original price decrease with a separate vendor, while replacing a stamped steel supplier for a savings of approximately $1,000,000.
Inventory Mgt Revised and led the implementation for the process of inventorying slow moving steel. By having larger size items cut to fill the needs of slower moving smaller size items, it allowed for reduced inventory amounts and eliminated the need to purchase the additional small sizes.
Warehouse Mgt Developed and implemented a pallet return process through research and coordination of an outside vendor with the plant to bring $300 monthly revenue into the plant.
