Skills: Began my career as a Heavy Equipment and Crane Mechanic for 8 years, then moved into Oil and gas field Mechanic, offshore and land, refinery mechanic on all makes and models of Natural Gas, Diesel and Gasoline Engines, Air and Nat Gas Compressors, most makes of Cranes both hydraulic and friction, Solar Turbine engines Generator packages and many kinds of pumps that move oil, water and other chemicals. In my career I have had to perform all Preventive maintenance as well as complete overhauls. I have held classes on these repairs as well as conduct field training to new hires in the oil industry. My computer skills include ( SAP )program to keep track of equipment and repairs, (ISSOW )for implementing Permits to Work, JSA’s and Lock out Tag outs, and general communications. Even purchased the Brutus TLP and I stayed to train new people coming on board. I worked for Enven for 18 months as lead mechanic and trainer. The last three months training my replacement. I left Enven 8/1/18. Shell Oil Co.

Brutus TLP as mechanic on all equipment maintenance and repairs, taking care of the Gas Compressors and Solar Generator packages but spent my first 5 years taking care of all the pumps and other equipment onboard Brutus. I create the notifications of equipment needing repair and perform those repairs as well as P.M.s, on same. I use ISSOW and Sap as tools to track this work as well as my personal history of all the equipment on board. I have been involved in most of the major work done here such as turbine change outs, Motor driver change outs and start up, of the new equipment. Crane repairs, inspections and permitting for heavy lifts, as a Local Lifting Focal Point. I also run the Vibration Analyzer on all equipment and touch base with our Rotating Engineers to discuss any developing issues from the results. I am involved in the Root cause process when upsets occur and help install ways to prevent them in the future. I spent 10 years as Operation Section Chief of the fire team with Coast Guard license for shipboard firefighting and Lifeboat Captain. I mentored many newcomers of the teams. I was trained as a Shell level 3 Mechanic, Level 2 Electrician, Level 2 Operator, as well as trained in Fall rescue, Hazmat, confined space entry. I was also trained to the level of Mechanic A, during my 8 years with Chevron Oil Co. I have attended over 100 classes to certify or re-certify in every field of training needed to work in the Oil and Gas Industry.

I was assigned to a field of 8 Platforms that I completed all minor and major repairs of Gas Compressors, engines, air compressors, cranes etc. I had an opportunity to go Deep Water so I moved out to a TLP. I then was assigned to the ENI Morpeth TLP. I maintained a gas compressor and a VRU, many pumps and two cranes that I did or oversaw the repairs and maintenance of. This was a small Sea Star TLP, so I wanted to move out to a larger TLP such as the Shell Brutus. More Details of Experience

Last position held was a Mechanical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert

(SME) on Tubines, Compressors, Generators and Cranes. Started on construction jobs and oil refineries performing light and heavy repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, cranes and overhead hoist. I began working on Gas compressors in refineries, remote locations and offshore. I performed complete teardowns and reassembly of engines and compressors as well as grout jobs. The overhauls would include Base Deflection readings, Web deflection readings, soft foot, rod run outs and alignments. The equipment would include High Speed 4,6,8,12 and 16 cylinder engines. Low Speed 4,6,8,10,12 and 16 cylinder engines. Also 2,4, and 6 throw compressors, Solar Turbines and Solar compressors. I have rebuilt and maintained many makes of Air compressors, Pumps Gear boxes and drivers.

I have performed mechanic, maintenance and Leadership duties. Involved in numerous acceptance test of engines and complete compressor packages.
