Private Line MPLS core network to Cloud Enterprise in collaboration with th NOC Technician / Arbinet Exchange - Reston, VA, VA / 03.2008 - 05.2011 As a Network Operations Tier III Technician, I was able to provide client support to the Network Operations Center (NOC) contingent upon Operations & Sustainment to backbone network communications. This was conducted by monitoring network health via CYGWIN, Solar Winds and Nagios. A responsibility of Tier III, further preventative maintenance requires consistent performs health checks to verify operational stability.As Tier III, my daily task were to resolving network problems as they appear. Detects, analyzes, and resolves network switching and transmission system problems while minimizing impact on client service. This required reaching out to the Tier 1 carriers to resolve issues from degradation to full down hard occurrences.
