PROJECT TITLE: SYNTHESIS OF METAL (FE) DOPED TIO2 BASED PHOTOCATALYST FOR DEGRADATION OF ORGANIC POLLUTANTS IN WASTEWATER.

OBJECTIVE: Synthesis of TiO2 based photocatalyst for degradation of organic pollutant in wastewater. Analysis and Characterization of synthesis photocatalyst. Degradation of organic dye with a synthesized photocatalyst.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In TiO2 the energy band gap between CB (Covalent Band) and VB (Valance Band) is 3.2 eV, with the help of UV radiation the electron from VB to CB can be exited with this oxidation and reduction, which is Degradation of Organic pollutant can be done. Similarly, when doped Fe can be used to reduce this energy gap and visible range radiation can be used for degradation of organic pollutant.
