"TRIBOLOGICAL CHARACTERISATION OF ALUMINIUM ALLOY COMPOSITE REINFORCED WITH AGRO WASTE AND BORON CARBIDE"

In the present study an attempt is made to explore the possibilities of reinforcing aluminium alloy(ADC12) with rice husk ash particle of 3,6,9 and 12% By weight and constant 5% of Boron carbide particulates used to develop hybrid composites using a stir casting technique. Experimental Results of the present study reveals That reinforcements RHA And Boron carbide particles enhanced the wear and Hardness properties . The increase in hardness due to incorporation of hard ceramics presentin RHA and Boron Carbide. Basically Aluminium Alloy are widely used in automobile industries and aerospace industries due to their great mechanical properties like low density,low coefficient of thermal expansion,better corrosion resistance and wear .

Result:

Hardness of the composite material of 9% RHA is 81.(BHN) Density =2.310 g/cm3

There I was completed one month training of Practical Knowledge about Engine reconditioning and Bus body making

Before the Internship I only knew about theoritical things about Engine and other things but after This programm which helped me to learn lot about Engine and other parts in the bus. We Teamed there to practice some works like dismantling and assembling the engine parts like Fuel Pump We learned lot there by enjoying the programm.
