Project Name: INDUSTRIAL PROJECT WORKS AT JINDAL SOUTH WEST STEEL LIMITED (JSW), BELLARY, KARNATAKA.

Industrial Experience

Worked as a Mechanical Site Engineer/Supervisor in Project Builder Pvt. Ltd (Under L&T) At JSW Plant (CRM#2-CAL1&2), Bellary, and Karnataka from 18th July. 2012 to 28th Feb. 2015.

Worked as a Mechanical Site Engineer/Supervisor in P.A. Projects Pvt. Ltd. At JSW Plant (HSM#2-Slab Sizing Press (SSP) & High Speed Coil Car Project),HSM#1&2 Mechanical maintenance work, Bellary, Karnataka from 05th March 2015 to 25th April 2018.

Currently working as a Mechanical Engineer/Supervisor in Industrial techno maintenance service Pvt. Ltd. At JSW Plant (CRM#2-PLTCM), Bellary, Karnataka from 28th May 2018 to Present.

Responsibility.

1) To advise the concerned departments and work man every day what is the planning our today work and how to complete our target achieve safely in project work or Shut down job.

i) Supervision of Equipment erection, Structural fabrication & commissioning and maintenance works carried out the site for Slab Sizing Press Equipment for HOT STRIP MILL at JSW.

ii) Preparing all the reports involving protocols of foundation construction, erection of various type equipments and the monthly tonnage details of erection done at the site as well as handling the man power.

iii) Also inspection in site alignment work like motor, housing, structural fabrication and various type of equipment.

iv) Also inspection in site quality control work like welding, cutting, alignment.

v) And also preparing the monthly bills and official work as per site work and payment sheets.

2) To advise on safety aspects of all jobs and carry out detailed JSA (Job Safety Analysis) or HIRA (Hazard

Identification and Risk Assessment) of selected jobs. Eg;

i) Prepare risk assessment for all the critical activities as per approved format by which site management can prevent personal injuries and industrial diseases. To keep its effectiveness site Supervisors and site in charge shall extend all kind of support to sustain corporate HSE Policy for prevention of injury or industrial disease.

ii) Coordinate with members of the project management team, sub-contractors management, vendors and any specialist service provided. Ensure Risk Assessment for all potentially hazardous operations are developed and made known to the appropriate parties and are included in the site OHS Plan and Manual as a part of the hazard identification programmed.

iii) Review the effectiveness of risk assessment periodically and amend the same in consultation with activity owner or site execution engineer/Supervisor.

iv) Copy of the approved risk assessment to be send to HO-Safety for review and comments.

3) To carryout safety inspections in order to identify unsafe plant or equipment and hazardous conditions of work,

And carryout safety observation to identify unsafe work practices and procedures followed by workers, and to

Suggest measures to be adopted for remedying defects found. Eg;

i) Conduct safety inspection for all the plant & equipment with P&M engineer and passenger vehicle (Engaged by MBE management) periodically with site Admin.

ii) No plant or equipment shall be allowed to operate unless certified FIT by inspection committee (i.e. Safety, P&M & Admin.).

iii) Plant and equipment safety inspection (as per procedure) shall be carried out to identify unsafe work practices and suggest measures to prevent personal injuries or industrial diseases.

iv) The inspection report shall be documented as per procedure, check and evaluated its effectiveness for the action taken or proposed by RM to be taken by concern department/ users.

v) Empower site personnel to stop activities / unsafe conditions with imminent dangers of Accident.
