Initially moved from the Consulting Application Engineering role into the Delivery Manager position on the BI Internal Analytics team. Lead that team until February 2017 when I was charged with creating/leading a team to develop a new Spend Recognition application. As a Consulting Application Engineer with HealthTrust, I developed MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Reporting on SQL Server. Created table mappings, attribute (data) hierarchies, created and maintained metadata, and developed many MicroStrategy 9.4.1 reports, dashboards, and iCubes to be used by Finance and Member Services. Also provided user folder security and setup self-service Visual Insight reporting.

Acted in the Technical Lead role for Business Intelligence reporting and analytics. Lead code reviews and provided input for best practices. Provided direction during planning, scoring, and sizing sessions with the development team. Managed project deployments to the various environments.

Senior Data Architect for MicroStrategy BI

As a Senior Data Architect with Fruit of the Loom, developed MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Reporting on ORACLE and Teradata databases. Created table mappings, attribute (data) hierarchies, created/maintained metadata, and developed many MicroStrategy 9.3.0 reports to be used for Trend Analysis, Forecasting, Point of Sale, Distribution, Sales, Shipment, Bookings, Open Orders, Returns, Distribution, and Manufacturing. Toad was utilized to produce SQL queries for data analysis and quality assurance. Also provided system documentation, created user manuals, and presented end-user training in MicroStrategy report creation/execution.

MicroStrategy experience with Fruit of the Loom consisted of ten plus years of development work. Created several hundred report combinations including prompts, filters, metrics, consolidations, and custom groups. Helped set up the logical business model (attributes and relationships) and provided performance tuning for queries through creation of views, creation of summary tables, changes to the MicroStrategy engine, and through the addition of table indexes.
