Mini Hacksaw Powered By Beam Engine Dec’18
We as a team of four developed a mini hacksaw machine powered by beam engine which helps to cut metal pieces easily, rapidly and accurately. I hold the position of the team leader of this project and we successfully completed the work. This system is very much efficient than the ordinary hacksaw machine. I think further development can bring out a considerable change in the future.

We a team of four worked on a project that would bring great advantages in aerospace and automobile industries in future. Magnesium and its alloys are light weight, biodegradable and have good strength to weight ratio. So it can be used in automobile industries, aerospace etc. But due to its highly corrosive nature it cannot be widely used for these purposes. So for attaining corrosive resistance and enhancing its strength, a protective coating of phosphorous and nickel is being coated using electroless coating process.
