Enhanced the efficiency of the solar pond by incorporating a low- temperature energy storage system containing encapsulated phase change material blended with nanoparticles. Augmented the rate of heat transfer by placing twisted tapes in the flow passage of the heat exchanger. Prediction of performance parameters using deep learning (MATLAB and Weka) and CFD analysis (ANSYS Fluent).

Research - Capstone Project - VIT Chennai Jan - June 2020 Studied the production process of manual & automatic slack adjusters, which are sold for use in heavy motor vehicles.

Iron casting process, machining processes and assembly of slack adjusters were studied. Trained to operate machines under guidance. Got hands dirty by using gauges to measure the dimensions of the slack adjuster and test quality of the product at each stage of manufacturing. Industrial Internship - Madras Engineering Industries June - July 2019 Experienced the factory floor of the Ford plant, and gained insight on how a factory is run, with its safety regulations and protocols. Learnt the production process of a Ford automobile from sheet metal operations to painting to assembly. The various quality checks for each aspect of the car were observed and studied.
