Relevant Projects
Capstone Design (Electrical Engineering): Worked as part of a 5-person team to design an internet-of-things electric door lock called SureLock. Collaborated with designers on what features the device would have. Acquired parts for testing and assembly. Completed the plan with professor on how the project would be completed but were prohibited to test SureLock due to Covid-19.
Capstone Design (Material Science Engineering): Worked as part of a 4-person team to design a wind tunnel sensor for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Performed as the only Material Engineer Design student along with Mechanical Engineering students. Completed final design for wing tunnel sensor. Created CAD model of sensor on SolidWorks. Simulated sensor with applied stress; made revisions. Used CES database to determine sturdiest material for manufacturing though 3-D printing.
