Data Integration Specialist, Software Engineer

Developed C# console applications to extract APIs data and dumped the data into Excel files. It resulted in reducing by 95% the waiting time to access and use over 10,000+ active products of each API feed.

Ensured quality and consistency across the data, which reduced data errors significantly.

Created model classes with Entity Framework (C#) to map with the tables in SQL Server or MySQL.

Extracted the monthly product rebates and downloaded the pdf file associated with each rebate. The automation improved the time to upload data in the internal system from hours to a few minutes.

Integrated data from various back-end services and databases.

IT Engineer (Full Stack Software Engineer)

Re-designed an existing SharePoint application into an internal ASP.NET MVC5 web application, allowing a user to suggest an employee for an open position via a request. It kept track of the status of the request at any time. The gain was a better and responsive UI using Bootstrap, JQuery, Ajax, JSON, and JavaScript.

Used C# to add new features such as a confirmation email after a submission of a request, accessing the application via a link in the email using MS Outlook, and generating a pdf file at the end of the process. A database in SQL Server was used to store and retrieve the current status as well as the data related to that request. This improved by about 90% the total time it took for a request to be completed.

Designed a website and a database per client requirements. C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript was used. The database was implemented in SQL Server to store basic clients information.

Gap: 06/2015 - December 2015: Finishing up with my Bachelor in Computer Science. Then I started working as a freelancer while looking for Junior/Entry level position since January 2016.

Software Engineer Intern

Developed an application in C# allowing the manufacturing department to automate daily reports. The application loaded .DAT files then converted these files into Excel spreadsheets containing charts for data analysis. The data from the Excel spreadsheets were then stored into SQL Server Database.
