JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Construction, operation & maintenance of water and wastewater pumping main, gravity network, pump stations and treatment plants with SCADA.

Preparation of RFP/RFQ, evaluation, equipment breakdown history, maintenance schedule and sizing, layout requirements, detailed bill of quantities, cost estimate, technical specifications, lab analysis, flow sheet development, budget preparation, KPI, and operating cost projections (CAPEX and OPEX).

Infiltration survey for sewer system and sanitary sewer condition assessment.

Preparation of equipment specification, data sheet, material requisition and do cost effective vendor evaluation and analysis.

Preparation of feasible reports, proposals and execution works for pump stations, networks, treatment plants, and other sewerage systems.

Recommendations for new project proposals, treatment plant facilities, pumping stations, and collection systems.

Construction activities, schedule reviews, payment authorization, technical and contractual daily matters as per the contract and FIDIC.

Review of the consultant’s supervision duties as per the contract.

Mechanical erection at WTP, WWTP and pump stations. Different units like inlet chambers/works, lift/pump stations, settling tanks, stilling chambers, air blowers, clariflocculators, filter beds, back wash collection tanks, sludge thickener, chemical house, membrane filters, various pumps, Belt press and sludge handling equipments, diffusers, different kinds of valves, internal piping and specials.

Reviewing of detailed design, drawings, equipment sizing, process input to mechanical and equipment/instrument data sheet, flow analysis, preparation and development of PFD/P&ID. Participation in HAZOP and risk studies.

Commissioning of individual process, equipment and various pumps.

Pre-commissioning and testing of the Pump stations, WTP, and WWTP. COMPETENCIES

Hydraulic and mechanical design of various kinds of WTP and WWTP systems.

Preparation and reviews of engineering drawings. Design of Pump stations & networks. Erection of mechanical equipments, piping, fittings, and pumps.
