Followed catechol degradation via a Cupriavidus pauculus isolate
using an assay to determine catechol concentrations
Used two methods from literature in an attempt to find one that works
for our purposes; the first, a phenylfluorone- based method, was
problematic and could not be satisfactorily used to obtain a reasonable
standard curve. The second method, utilizing Folin Ciocalteau reagent,
has been working successfully to date.
