● Successfully lead a team of 10 members at Facebook.

● Worked on overall voice recognition system of Portal devices

● Played a crucial role in identifying major and blocking issues for the launch of Portal mini,Portal, Portal Plus and Portal TV

● Provided inputs and insights from the patterns observed in the speech bugs to the speech specialists on different accents and name recognition for calling with Language Model grading algorithm and Acoustic Model grading algorithm

● Identified potential root cause of NLU mapping, ER, Dialog and Agent issues which helped engineers in faster issue resolution using domain and intent identification algorithm, in case of the hero test case: calling -contact mapping algorithm, Multi turn interaction dialog algorithm etc

● A significant amount of planning was made to guarantee a smooth launch of the product by identifying critical issues in multiple features with the severity of the issues for quick and timely resolution by the engineers.

● Triaged Messenger Assistant - M and Oculus bugs in addition to Portal

● Debugged device logs to identify various issues with the speech engine, states of different flags, applications running in the foreground and background etc

● Triaged top issues to engineers resulting in the resolution of 200+ critical bugs for the Portal project

● Helped in creating data patches for variations of the existing voice commands to widen the scope of the usability on the devices

● Conducted and participated in bug bashes (employee driven testing) to test out new features and the stability of the product over a period of time

● Worked closely with the QA team to help smoothen and speed the process according to the scope of the products

● Worked closely with Engineering team and helped them get more insight into the product and kept track of supported features

● Worked with the Product team to gather information about the various features before the launch of the product

● Worked with the UX research team to provide input about the expectations of the existing user spectrum
