Objective

My goal is to build upon my career in the profession of nursing with my Master of Science in Nursing degree. My objective in being a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner is to use my experience and advanced education to deliver family-centered care to individuals across the lifespan in collaboration with the entire health care team.

Instructs new mothers in post-partum and infant care.

Provides care to newborns in the nursery setting and administers newborn medications.

Responsible for managing 5-6 high risk couplets.

Educates new moms on breastfeeding and newborn nutrition.

Apart of the core Newborn Assessment Nurse (NAN) team.

Serves as a preceptor to both students and new hires.

Apart of the core Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) team.

Performs newborn testing and assists with procedures such as circumcisions.
