Professional experience
With 6 yrs experience as a welding /qc inspector successfully executed mass production in casting valves with fully conversant with NDE technique and application on job/work, TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring that all the welding related records such as weld maps, welding procedure, welder qualification documents and calibration records of welding related equipment etc.
Reviewing the Welding Consumable Test certificate & its approval
Witnessing Welder Qualification tests as per ASME Sec. IX & EN 15614 &ISO 9606
Daily Monitoring the Baking system for welding consumables and proper issue of the consumables.
Monitoring the maintenance of Preheating, Inter pass & post heating Temperatures.
Maintain the Welder Performance Training record and Welder Certificates and cards along with their renewals.
In process Welding Surveillance to conform preheat, Interpass Cleaning, Interpass temp & heat input as per WPS
Follow and ensure welders are using correct welding consumables as per WPS and defect free welding.
Welding and Visual inspection as per Codes / Client requirements. (Surveillance checks before, during and after welding).
Raise Non Conformance Report (NCR) for any discrepancies, ambiguities or any irregularities observed during the execution of the work particularly on workmanship.
Visual inspection of completed welds and releasing for further activities.
Stage wise inspection carried out during quality process as per ASME & EN standards
Dimensional checking of casting prototype and bulk items
Conducting NDT On casted Valves (DP Test, MPI / UT).
All inspections tools and test equipment instruments and gauges etc are checked for its calibration and calibration certificate are currently valid or not.
To Coordinate with TUV Inspector and offer the finished products.
Customer handling and offering inspection with respect to QAP plan.
Ability to handle the testing for the castings as per the Standards and fulfill the customer requirements.
Creating quality document for all casting as per customer requirement and maintaining quality document as per our company quality policy OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparing work permit, method of statement and lifting plan to carryout work.
Man/Machine/Material utilization and enable knowledge sharing among them.
Updating daily, weekly and monthly progress at plant.
Attending monthly or weekly review meeting with clients
Teaching about safety to the workers
