Senior Project September 2019 - June 2020

• Design an app that showboats modern web development techniques while serving as a tool to navigate the Oregon State Engineering Expo.

• Create an interface for the user to be able to enable Augmented Reality features in the app, these features can be experienced through a personal device like a phone or tablet.

• Integrate the implementation of recognizing a poster board to be able to trigger the camera functionality, project a video onto the poster board while viewing through the personal device, recognize some identifier like a lanyard with a card and a number that is around an exhibitors neck and superimpose their name or function over their head when viewed through the personal device, place floating arrows in the view of the personal device which will direct users to a desired booth at the Expo, an API that defined any project and contribute their own AR wizardry to augment the experience of attendees at the event while at their booth.

Technical Projects

• Built and design a client interface using client-side JS for an interaction with the UI served via a Node.js. It dynamically generated content based on data stored on the back end. Client interface communicates with server to create, read, update, and/or delete content in the back-end data store.

• Create databases using precompiled .csv and json files based on a variety of museums’ online catalogs obtained by scraping online collections. Uploading data to mySQL database, managing file size and timeouts, and enable data access. SKILLS
