Profile
A highly motivated and hardworking individual with 17 years of basketball experience, 10 of which have been spent coaching. I have experience in working with both male and females of all ages and abilities. I employ my excellent communication, organisational and personal experiences to effectively plan, deliver and evaluate all on and off court basketball activity. Any team, club or organisation would benefit directly from my flexibility, active participation, attention to detail and dedication to the highest standard of basketball coaching. Key Achievements
• Since the creation of the Stirling Knights in 2010 I have been heavily involved in all aspects of the club. I have worked with other volunteers to build one of the top basketball clubs in Scotland, from both the participation and performance sides of the sport.
• Taking the lead and successfully securing funding for the set up and delivery of the “Stirling Knights Performance Academy”. This is a project which has seen club players dramatically increase time on task which has successfully led to multiple players going on to further their basketball education at a higher level.
• Supporting local High Schools allows club players to undertake pre-school morning sessions under my charge. This extends to additional strength and conditioning with local partners, as well as a classroom instruction of other sport science disciplines such as nutrition, video analysis and sports psychology.
• Completion of my third successive year working with the Scottish National Squad at U16 level as a Lead Assistant, with successfully achieving the Bronze medal at the prestigious Copenhagen Tournament and secured a 4th place finish at the Euro C Championships in Albania.
• Multiple Scottish titles as Head Coach of the Stirling Knights Senior Men, U16 Girls and U18 Boys.
• Continued personal develop of my own coaching philosophy, style of play and tactical awareness of the sport.

Interests
Since stopping playing competitive basketball in the last year my main sport has been golf. I am an avid gym goer and enjoy watching or participating in all sports including rugby, swimming, badminton, snooker etc. I regularly attend as many Scotland football matches as I can and I have a keen interest in music, films and history. Most of my spare downtime spent with my long term girlfriend and dog.
