Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) (2015) - Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay- India Specialization: Earth Sciences
Thesis: Source characterization and mobilization mechanism of arsenic in groundwater of Manipur, India.
In my Ph.D. work, I have done extensive geochemical, mineralogical, and hydrological studies of the rocks, sediments, soil, and crop samples. Determined extend and severity of arsenic contamination in groundwater and food crops (Rice). I carried out the sequential extraction to understand the mobilization mechanism of arsenic.
Preparation and assistance in conduction of workshops/summer schools, contribution to teaching as teaching assistance, guidance and assistance of master, national and international students and researchers.
Master of Science (M.Sc.) (2010) - Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh Specialization: Applied Geology
Thesis: Remote Sensing & ArcGIS- Land use land cover classification of Pali District Rajasthan, India
Extensive fieldwork has been carried out in the Pali district of Rajasthan, India, to estimate the land use and land cover classification. ArcGIS was used for the preparation and estimation of the area.
