Re: Character Reference - Todd Goering
The purpose of this is to provide a character reference for Mr. Todd Goering whom I have known as both neighbor and friend for a period of three plus years.
Todd and I met as neighbors one afternoon while I was working in my yard. I had
recently found my way back from a heart problem that had me confined to
my bedroom for a good while. Todd made the effort to cross the street and
meet his long absent neighbor. We began the process of trading life stories
and quickly began to develop a light hearted neighborly relationship which over time developed into a real friendship.
Accordingly, having experienced such an easy relationship with Todd over
the past few years, I believe, puts me in a position to provide a pretty accurate assessment of his character.
Regarding his general industry, Todd is hard-working and highly committed
to forwarding his own education. His willingness to subject himself to an
on-line education attests to that fact. In addition to having the
curiosity and drive necessary to further such efforts, Todd
continues his role as a father and husband. This is worthy of mention due to the energies obviously necessary for any adult to be successful at juggling a life of family, work and scholarship.
Todd has maintained an outgoing personality as well as a continuing willingness to help others outside his own family. As a neighbor, Todd maintains high marks. Todd continues to offer a helping hand while effectively maintaining his own home environment.
As a friend, Todd Goering is genuine and exhibits the loyal, honest, considerate, and supportive traits of an individual with the ability to see and understand another’s perspective. Todd is a direct communicator who knows how to raise and discuss common issues and problems in an uncommonly mature manner. He is sensitive and attuned to others in any given situation. More importantly Todd is fun to be around.
All in all, I would have to say that Todd Goering is a fine, well-balanced person with an abundance of positive qualities.

Todd Goering is not a “one-shot wonder.” He has skills and experience in a variety of areas. Having been Todd's neighbor and friend, I have grown to know him as a motivated and resourceful man. I have seen him transition from a private business owner to an educator over the last decade.
While being a devoted husband and father, he completed not only an undergraduate degree, but a Master's degree as well.
Not only is Todd resourceful and skillful, but he has a creative nature as well. I have seen multiple projects that he has created, often amazing me with their complexity and impressing me with his avid initiative. The projects are often complex, but Todd's nature is such that he works wholeheartedly until he has accomplished his goals.
