Please consider this as a letter of excellence and commendation for Mr. Mike Ansley. I have known Mike since 2014, working directly with him on a capital project as a supervising engineer for The Colorado Department of Transportation. Please allow me to capture in this document some but not all of Mike's strength's as a Project Manager and COOT contractor. Mike has a cooperative and professional demeanor in dealing with customers as well as subordinates. Mike has always handled requests for cost estimates, analysis and information in a timely manner. Mike possesses an innate ability to "see the big picture" thus staying ahead of the progressing work and scheduling appropriately. Mike also prepared complex critical path schedules per specification as work progressed.
Mr. Ansley is honest and fair with regard to pay estimates. Mike conducted himself professionally at meetings, pre-construction [where he was always prepared), on site, and final documentation job acceptance meetings. He works well with others. Mike has always displayed safety mandated habiliments and attire as required without exception. Mike knows project construction materials such as soils, asphalt and concrete, their design, mixture and application. He runs heavy equipment placing materials safely. Mr. Ansley takes care of company tools, instruments and equipment and to my knowledge has never had any problems with maintaining company properties or customer property. Please note that he worked with me on a capital project at a cost of roughly 2 million dollars. I would recommend Mr. Ansley for most any endeavor he chooses to work at, especially construction management, engineering and construction materials. It has been my pleasure to have worked with and known Mr. Ansley. Please do not hesitate to contact me at The Department of Transportation or @ 303-***-**** .

Re: Recommendation for Mike Ansley
To whom it may concern,
I was initially impressed with Mike Ansley's communication skills and professional demeanor when I began to work with him on the 2012 Street Rehabilitation Program. In the past 3 years, Mike has performed as the project superintendent role for Brannan Sand & Gravel on the City of Centennial's Street Rehabilitation Program. He has exceeded my expectations with his communication, honesty, integrity and ethics. Safety is a very important part of Mike's projects; he wants to keep his employees and others safe while working on the project.
Mike has produced an amazing pro<iuct, with quaUty and efficiency, which has accumulated over $13 millton worth of mill/overlay and reconstruction projects in the last 3 years with the City of Centennial. This is exemplified by winning the best mill and overlay award from the Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association in both 2012 and 2013 for the City of Centennial. Mike's enthusiasm on the project keeps everyone eyeing the same goal.
Mike's work ethic and communication with the City was an important part of renewing a
$5 million contract with Brannan Sand & Gravel for the 2014 Street Rehabilitation Program. He assists in making decisions that are in the best for the City while also making a profit for Brannan Sand & Gravel, which keeps both parties enthusiastic for a great construction season.
Mike is a hardworking, topcperforming project superintendent. He has my highest recommendation and I am happy to furnish more details if you would like additional information.
Sincerely,

Mike Ansley was employed by HPM, Inc. from March 23, 2020 to December 1, 2020. During this period, he served HPM well as a project superintendent responsible for a near $4,000,000 lift station project in Lone Tree, Colorado.
It is unfortunate for HPM, Inc. that, due to economic constraints, we must restructure our organization and lose valued employees such as Mike. I would recommend him without reservation for any position or company that Mike may choose to pursue. During our time working together, Mike produced excellent work, while displaying an eagerness to continue to learn and grow. I admire Mike’s willingness to continue to develop his skills in the industry despite an already long and experienced career. Mike is a true professional who is always seeking ways to improve his craft.
