Asure Software

Data Specialist - Fall 2020

oData extraction/web scraping from medium size companies’ databases into comma separated value form, Excel sheet form or raw unformatted. Then, I would translate/transform the data into a format in Excel that can be uploaded into Asure’s HR and Payroll database service. I use techniques like slicing, concatenating, grouping, cleaning, filtering and mapping to re-organize the data sets. The tools I used were Python, Excel and SQL.

Forex Exchange Market Alert Bot

Spring 2020

oCreated a bot that sends a notification to the user when the opening price or closing price of a specified currency exchange is approaching a specific value based on the chosen trend lines. The bot can monitor multiple currencies at the same time; the user does not need to physically monitor themselves and help increase profits since they will have more chances to make profitable trading decisions.

Naïve Bayes News Classifier AI

Spring 2020

oCreated an AI that decides if new articles it reads are fake or true. From there it separates them into fake news and true news categories. All it needs is the articles you want it to read, then it will be decided if it is fake or true.

US Car Price Predictor AI (Multiple Regression)

Spring 2020

oCreated an AI with the ability to determine the price of car based off the mileage and the year it was made. This AI is given data from the US Car Auctions website’s database. It analyzes the data received and from there it can be asked to price any vehicle based off the mileage and year.

Seismic Training Instagram Bot

Fall 2019

oCreated an Instagram bot to increase marketing exposure. The bot navigates to the given hashtag page it then cycles through the content on that page and interacts with the content in random percentage format to emulate human usage (ex: 25% to comment on a post and %40 chance to like a post). It increased the follower amount of Seismic Training’s Instagram page from 50 to 1000 within 2 months.
