SENIOR MANAGER MUNICIPAL SUPPORT

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE: NQF level 7 qualification in Accounting / Finance Compliance with the amended requirements as contained in the Regulation for minimum competency levels, Notice No. 1146, Government Gazette no. 41996 of 26 October 2018 or the ability to complete it within 18 months At least five years' previous management experience in Finance Extensive knowledge of GRAP, IFRS and other financial frameworks A valid driving license (code B / 8) Be prepared to to travel Computer literate

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Provide ongoing support to the District and B-Municipalities in the following areas: institutional strategic financial services asset management financial accounting and auditing budget and revenue management MSCOA compliance capacity building

SALARY PACKAGE: Negotiable under Government Gazette No. 43122 of 20 March 2020 (R 815 063 to R 996 188). A rural allowance can also be paid at 10% of the annual salary.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN/TECHNOLOGIST

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / B-Tech degree More than 5 years previous experience at consulting engineering firm or local government Computer skills Experience in drafting technical reports, business plans and contract / project management Good communication skills Must at least be able to communicate well in Afrikaans and English Valid code 8 / B driving license Must be able to work under pressure High level of responsibility Ability to pay attention to detail

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Operational planning and reporting Procedures, systems and controls Work area Resource planning and control Technical support Ground surveys and inspections Financial monitoring Administration and reporting Stakeholder liaison with the IDP and PMS.

SALARY: Post level T14 (R 398 844 p.a.) plus a car and cell phone allowance in line with the policy of the municipality.
