RESPONSIBILITIES
● To perform smooth Startup and Shutdown of plant as per SOP.
● Operation and control of reactor section.
● Set controls to adjust to adjust process variables such as flows, temperature and pressure.
● Make corrective action regarding any operational disturbance.
● Handling Troubleshooting & Emergency of the plant.
● Proper recording of field data.
● Read temperature and pressure gauges and flow meters, record readings.
● Health monitoring of rotating equipment’s.
● Experience in Permit Systems (hot work, cold work, work at height and confined space entry) LOTO and maintain the records.
● Co-ordinate with maintenance department (mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation) for smooth and efficient functioning of unit.
● Monitoring trends and performs logical correction to prevent interruptions of system operation.
● Maintains plant parameters in log sheets and prepare daily shift reports.
● Leak tests, Nitrogen purging/ O2 freeing of the systems.
● Routine checking.
● Checking of any abnormalities & monitoring various parameters.
● Pipeline cleaning by cardboard blasting, Service flushing, Air blowing, Water Flushing, steam blowing etc.
