Medupi Power station. Lephalale 03 June 2014 – current Started as a Site supervisor.
Responsibilities includes: Suspended Platform inspector and erector [ cr 17.9 ] Embrace maintain and enforce the project ZERO harm philosophy. Supervising/managing all activities of cladding, ventilators, flashings, gutters, launders, downpipes and temporary suspended platform on boilers, conveyer, preassemble and installation of RVI vents.
Plan, set out, prepare tools, plant, including man lifts, scaffolding, TSP’s cherry pickers and cranes requirements and materials supplies to ensure the 9 by 8 man crews fully utilizes the allotted work hours.
Liaising with engineering, on clarification, interpretation of drawings and project specifications to ensure a quality product is presented to the client Interface with other contractors and the client, to ensure minimization of stoppages due to interface issues.
I attended daily and weekly progress meeting with client. Advising on progress schedule and 2 week look ahead.
