ESPN Fantasy Football History Github

ESPN Fantasy Football History is an application that scrapes espn’s fantasy football page, going through all years of league history and collecting every stat available. It then pushes the stats into AWS S3, and finally copies the data into a redshift cluster for querying. Technologies include AWS(S3, Redshift) and python(Selenium, BeautifulSoup, OS, boto3, dotenv, SQLAlchemy).

● Incorporated Selenium webdriver and bs4 BeautifulSoup to access every page in the history of the fantasy football league and scraped the data into a dictionary.

● Cleaned and reformatted the dictionaries into the desired format and uploaded the dictionaries into an AWS S3 bucket using SQLAlchemy, boto3, and dotenv libraries.

● Copied the data uploaded to S3 into two separate tables in redshift and then performed advanced queries using common table expressions, exported the results of the queries as a CSV which was then exported into an excel file for visibility. Golf Stats Github

Golf stats is an application that scrapes the website golfstats.com for golf major statistics and turns them in PostgreSQL databases to allow for querying, using python(Selenium, pandas, webscraping) and PostgreSQL
