Working in RJIL IP Access Fault Management Department For RJIL 4G Project, as a

Network Engineer. Knowledge of Network architecture & Enterprise architecture.

Troubleshooting on call issues and to provide support to Field Engineer, issues relating to Routers, Network Connectivity, TCP/IP configuration, upgrades IOS. RAN & VOIP.

Analyzing the issues by using various tools like Citrix, NNMI, HP Service Manager, Temip, Solarwinds portal.

Diagnose and resolve IP MPLS/DCN network issues and troubleshooting issues related to the routing protocol like MPLS, BGP & IS-IS.

Initiating Incident Management by recognizing/verifying an event or an issue reported through Request Management.

Install, upgrade, manage, support, and troubleshoot Cisco products by raising request in Change Management. Configuring and troubleshooting the CISCO ASR Aggregation routers.

Conducting optimization activities and analyzing KPI related issues on high priority for Improvement of network statistics within SLA.

Rectifying BSC’s Related Issus, BSC Hardware issue.

Executing planned activity as per care suggestions, under maintains window.

Regular monitoring of Block-TRX and make them working from BSC end also with the help of, field engineers

Managing and coordinating activities at field locations e.g., hardware.

Establishing effective coordination with operators in other section regarding network outages and Supports Major Service outage investigations and follow up.

Performing daily process checks to track requests being sent and their execution.

Daily Work on Quality alarms which affect the services.

Escalating site down alarms to concern engineer, Raising TT for restoration.

Quickly raising emergency mails, based on priority.

Escalating issues to FLM engineers and FLM Technicians

Troubleshoot ZERO call cells & other KPI & GPRS related issues on high priority

DAP (GPRS) implementation in Sites.

Rectifying MSS, MGW, HLR Related Issus, Hardware Issus.

Trouble ticket & TAT raised and follows up. Overall switching operations and maintenance of NSN Core nodes. Health check & Backups of all core nodes (MSS, MGW, HLR, GCS).

Overall Fault management alarms are observing and trouble shooting of NSN core nodes Health check & backup of Siemens, Huawei soft switch & MGW’s. Patch Up gradation of Siemens SS.

Maintaining switch & MGW backup tracker for all circle on scheduled basis as a precautionary step for any major switch outage.

Work Description:-

Knowledge of 2G GSM Network.

Handles the fault management and monitoring of Nokia Flexi BSC, BSC3i, BTS.

Troubleshooting of Nokia BSC & BTS site alarms at BSC/BTS end from remote location.

Troubleshooting System Alarms related to BSC and BTS.

Assign Trouble Ticket (TT) and Work order (Task) using PT4 (BMC Remedy) software Tool to resolve Faults/Alarms on BSC, RNC, BTS & Node B level.

BSC backup Management on daily basis.

Executing fault rectification of various hardware/software of BSC/BTS Units & Cards.

Network element Health checkup, trouble shooting and Trouble Escalation.

Coordinates with responsible engineers for isolation of BSC/BTS experiences problem.

Responsible for call drop diagnosis and restoration from block to working state in BSC.

Regular monitoring of Block-TRX and make them working from BSC end also with the help of RF, field engineers.

Planned Activity Execution for Hardware Faults resolution, ongoing Care Cases Etc

Ensure the 99% TCH availability of the network.

Troubleshoot ZERO call cells, Less Payload cells, sleeping cells & other KPI & GPRS related issues on high priority.

Analyzing root causes of BSC & BTS outage.

Cooperation with CARE Technical Support regarding Network outages.
