Pilot Catastrophe Services, Inc. Catastrophic Claims Manager For The Allstate National Catastrophe Teams Claim Referral Office, Litigated, Attorney Represented & Appraisal Property Claims. November 2012 to Present.

Responsibilities consist of managing a team of 10 adjusters who are handling appraisal, attorney represented and litigated catastrophic property claims. I am responsible for authorizing all settlements over the adjuster’s authority of $5,000.00. I am responsible for approving all files requesting to enter the appraisal process. I am responsible for conducting quality control open & closed claim file reviews as well as performance reviews. I over see the use of outside venders, independent adjusters for use as our appraisers, defense attorneys hired to represent Allstate when suit is filed and approved contractors. I am responsible to report weekly to upper management in regards to reserves set, and amounts paid out on all appraisal and litigated claims. I am responsible for hiring and training all new personal.

Responsibilities consist of handling personal & commercial lines property damage claims caused by Hurricane Ivan in the Panhandle of Florida, property damage claims caused by Hurricane Katrina in the Mississippi Gulf Coast and claims manager for adjusters working property claims caused by Hurricane Wilma in South Florida. I have been working as a claims manager & assistant storm manager since 2005. Managing and deploying adjusters to various storm events all across the country.
