RESPONSIBILITIES & CAPABILITIES

Provide Shift coverage & Support to Operation department for smooth operation of whole complex. During shift coverage navigate the Logic & checked the Initiated Alarms, checked the Trends of DCS & Mark VIe and finalize the reports.

I have good working experience of Steam Turbine make HTC (Harbin Turbine Co.) Having Capacity of Power Generation 200MW.Attended outages on STG & carried out routine PM & CM jobs also worked on Supervisory Instruments of STG & H2 Detectors for hydrogen. Carried out routine HP main Steam Valves & HP & LP bypass valves. I have worked over all kind of instrumentation installed on STG including control systems (Ovation OCR-400 & Allan Bradley PLC RS-logix 5000). Attended several problems & Trips on STG troubleshoot the issues made the trip reports checked the trends of various parameters. Support provided to Operation for any problem related with STG.

Also worked on 03 HRSG & related instrumentation & BOP areas

GAS TURBINES with MARK-VIe Control

K-Electric has three GE’s Frame 9E (PG9171E) Gas Turbines and each one has a capacity of Power Generation 3*120 MW.

I have been involved and performed the following jobs

Vibration monitoring system.

Flame ignition & detection System.

Over Speed and over temperature protection.

I can interpret different alarms and troubleshoot the system’s hardware problems.

Fire protection system.

Fuel gas system (Servo valves SRV, GCV replacement).

Vibration protection system.

Attended several Combustion Inspections for all three GT’s

NATURAL GAS COMPRESSORS

I have worked on 3 natural gas compressors used to compress the Natural Gas. I have hands on experience of working on compressors related instruments like Suction, Anti surge & ESD Control valves, Combustible gas detectors, Vibration system, Temperature monitoring.

EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN SYSTEM PLC HIMA(H-51H) and Allen Bradley:

Study of Relay Alarming card and shut down switches and also wiring for safety barriers and I/O cards. Troubleshooting & Rectifications of PLC Cards & Power Supplies.

ULTRASONIC (FLOW & LEVEL) TRANSMITTERS:

I have also worked and installed different kind of ultrasonic flow & level transmitters of Magnetrol Model, 344/345 and K-Tec K-Sonic for Level and Endress Hauser for Flow.

IP & IH CONVERTER:

I have worked on I/P converters of ABB, Kent Taylor, Foxboro, and Fisher. I/H converters of Woodward (CPC & I/H).

MACHINE MONITORING SYSTEMS:

I have worked over the different types of machinery monitors such as Vibration (Axial and Radial) probes, Key phasor probes, tachometers, Velometers, etc.

VIBRATION & THRUST MONITORING SYSTEM:I have worked over the Bently Nevada 3300 & 3500 series Machine Monitoring System with 7200 & 3300 proximitors and probes. Calibration of the system, adjustment of probes, gap voltages adjustments, software configurations, etc.

TACHOMETERS:

I also worked over the AITEC, AIRPAX & JAQUET Tachometers installed for the speed measurement of different type of rotating machinery.

FIELD INSTRUMENTATION:

I have also worked over the different type of Transmitters, Switches, Temperature Instruments, Calibrators, and etc..

TRANSMITTERS:

I have worked over the different Pressure, Temperature, Flow and Level Transmitters of ROSEMOUNT, AUTROL, YOKOGAWA, FOXBORO, SIEMENS, KENTTAYLOR, BAILLEY calibration and installation.

SWITCHES:

I am convenient with the different pressure, temperature and flow switches of SOR, CCS, Cella, Officen Oribichi, Herion, Magnetrol, etc

SOV'S:

I have also worked on sov's of Morrel, Maxell, Asco, Herion.

FLAME DETECTORS:

I have also worked over the Flame detectors with Ultra Violet sensors of Fire EyeTM, & Coe & Clerici Ramo,Sie their sensors and amplifier circuits.

TEMPERATURE INSTRUMENTS:

I have also worked over the different temperature instruments like Thermocouples, (K and R type) RTDs (PT-100), etc. their installation at different rotary machines like compressors and other equipments.

CALIBRATORS:

I have a kind knowledge of the different calibrators, I have often use the BETA Temperature calibrator, Fluke 714 Temperature calibrator, Fluke 715 mA/mV calibrator, Fluke 707 loop calibrator, Fluke temperature bath, Keller Pressure Calibrator, Fluke Pressure calibrator, Memocal Temperature calibrator, Unomat frequency source and calibrator, HART, and Allen Bradley HHP (Hand Held Programmer) PLC Programmer, etc.

I have been involved in installation and troubleshooting of CCTV Cameras and DVR System Manufactured by PELCO.

I have hands on experience on Gas Chromatograph Performed Calibration, flow balancing, repair M2CP valves & regenerating the columns, cleaning of detectors to remove contamination.

NATURAL GAS CHROMATOGRAPH NGC-8206:

I have also worked on Natural Gas Chromatograph used to measure several components from fuel gas to check the purification of fuel gas & to calculate the efficiency of Gas Turbine.

MOISTURE ANALYZER (GE Panametrics)

I have worked on Moisture Analyzer used to measure moisture from cracked Propane & Ethane. Performed PM & CM jobs. Troubleshooting and fixing the issues.

GAS CYLINDER HANDLING:

I know well how to handle the Compressed and Flammable Calibration & Career Gas Cylinders as per MSDS.
