The Supervisor Maintenance Operations Control reports to the Sr. Manager Maintenance Operations Control. The Supervisor Maintenance Operations Control is a shift position that monitors the daily activities of MOC and the Technical Operations Division.
The Supervisor Maintenance Operations Control responsibilities include: Responsible for the daily operations and personnel within Maintenance Operations Control ensuring that all daily activities conducted are in strict compliance with the GMM.
Continuously update and maintain the Daily Operations Report with all relevant daily operations, aircraft status, on-going maintenance, Mechanical Delays and Page 2 of 10
Cancels, and all other pertinent information relevant to the continued safe operation of the Company's fleet.
Ensure each Maintenance Controller assigns any work to be completed (i.e., RINs, DMIs, and any other assignments as needed), review and approve/correct as required or necessary.
Review completed shift folder from previous shift and audit for quality and completion.
Audit prepared documents (e.g., Non-revenue flights) ensuring compliance with all rules/regulations set forth in the GMM.
Provide efficient and effective coordination with other departments within the Operations Control Center (OCC) during irregular operations. MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER, SPIRIT AIRLINES, MIRAMAR, FLORIDA — 2016 - 2020 SPIRIT AIRLINES FLEET A319, A320, AND A321.
Responsible for the efficient and economical coordination of maintenance operations with the authority to provide technical assistance to guide and advise personnel during troubleshooting and while performing maintenance, this will be done in accordance with the GMM, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, the AMP and Regulations.
Provide assistance for updating, tracking, and scheduling service inspections and checks.
Support contract maintenance as well as diagnosis of crews and troubleshoot maintenance discrepancies.
Ensure to make on time decisions for schedule, unscheduled changes to resolve conflicts among maintenance and daily operations schedule. Arrange the maintenance of remote stations for maintenance aircraft out of service and coordinate the logistics of personnel, tolls and parts. Page 3 of 10

Ensure the line maintenance station and maintenance personnel has the necessary training, current training, current technical data, tools, equipment, and material necessary to accomplish routine and non-routine maintenance for which they are authorized.
Administer personnel necessary to support line station/hangar maintenance operations, provide maintenance teams to assist other stations. Select, hire and ensure that employees are trained in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
Ensure all work accomplished is in compliance with the ANAC, FAA AND EASA regulations, GMM and organization policies and procedures. Take care of safety risk in the line maintenance operation by identifying trends in station operations and performance.
Ensure performance is compliant with the internal and regulatory standards. Provide oversight of the facility maintenance of the Avianca Brazil hangar. This includes cleanliness, fire extinction and other items required to maintain a safe environment in the hangar.

Coordinate the safe, complete and timely rectification of PIREPs, DMIs, NEFs, and other items with the quality control, line maintenance and materials groups. Provide the operations control center and dispatch with the continuing (real time) status of line aircraft, including delays, MEL items and return to service times. Coordinate new station openings with the marketing project and other departments and coordinate training and start- up functions for new stations. Ensure all contracted line maintenance providers are working and handling aircraft in accordance with all applicable ANAC and Avianca policies and procedures.

Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting repair and malfunctions for line maintenance and heavy maintenance services of the different fleets. Provide technical support and guidance in aircraft operations. Ensure On Job Training is provided by qualified personnel and property documented.
Assign and monitor the performance of aircraft maintenance personnel on duty. Ensure a safe working environment for all assigned aircraft maintenance activities. Verify maintenance releases are properly completed and ensure that aircraft have been restores to flight condition when AWRs are posted. Coordinate repairs and corrective actions with maintenance control, engineering and reliability.

Ensure that materials required for DMIs, NEFs are identified, and such information is provided to MCC as applicable.
Review logbook pages and non-routines for discrepancies and take prompt corrective actions when required.
Accomplish and document aircraft maintenance, inspection work assignments in accordance with the documents approved, GMM and policies of Avianca. Ensure good housekeeping practices are in effect and that standard safety measures are used to protect personnel, equipment, and property. Travel with aircraft to monitor aircraft systems or stations to provide technical assistance when determined by director of maintenance. Accomplish other duties as assigned.
