A lil bit about me...i have 2 children..i was born 07/04/1970! I've always put work first! At Royal vendors i had 4 years of perfect attendance! Im originally from West Virginia! Im a hard worker and a quick learner! If giving the chance I'll will prove myself a loyal and dependable worker!
Schooling:
I attended Musselman High School, graduated in 1988! I studied required courses was mostly interested in math! Went all the way to geometry 2! I played basketball and softball and lettered in both sports and drama! I've always been a very competitive person.
Work History:
I worked 7 years at Royal Vendors where i became a sheet metal mechanic! Osha certified and also forklift certified! I set up and operated brakepresses and punch presses for 24 different operators to safely operate machinery keeping their end product within a 32nd tolerance!
I worked a total of 6 years in book binding through 2 different terms of employment! Also a machine operator! I put dust covers on hard bound books and was training to be binder and gatherer operator!
I worked at Mcdonalds for 7 years and was a swing manager! Food service was a lil different than my usual but it was a second job i had to work after my divorce!
I moved to Virginia Beach and started working with Scott Okroy as his helper for the past 7 years, part-time as needed!
I started working for Sentara 6 years ago and currently working for the benefits! I really enjoy being a carpenter helper and would like to find a job doing what i like that has benefits also!
Sentara recently got bought out by Saber and i lost my retirement and my flexible spending account not to mention the insurance doubled! Sooo...i must find something better for myself! I will be a positive addition to your company if given the chance!
I do have my own tools, a valid driver's license, i have reliable transportation and I'm covid prepared! I've been tested twice a week since February due to working at the nursing home!
