PROFILE

Mr. Riahi is one of SAP’s most senior SAP Platinum Consultants. He has travelled globally representing SAP to their client base. Modernization: Receiver General of Canada (RG) provides central accounting, financial reporting, treasury services to all departments and Canadians. Recent value assessment identified that SAP a fit with RG modernization. Currently, PSPC CIO Branch is working collaboratively with RG business stakeholders to prepare for RG modernization including many Budget and Planning Software like SAP Budget Planning SBP that will include new GL data and the new integrated structure of the HANA tables out of the IS public sector ( not yet formally released by SAP).

SAP for banking solutions at Compartamos Banco to replace an old accounting system in order to simplify it’s process in the microcredit business; project site is in Mexico City.

The Compartamos project used Sandbox, development Quality Control and Production servers all using HP hardware. This first phase is to install the ERP (FICAX), Payment Engine, Account generation based ECC 6.0 and SAP BW 7.1

•Advised the SAP team in place in resolving issues and defects

•Designed a solution for a complex requirement by Compartamos in analysis of the accounts (AP, AR, Profit By account, performing and non-performing Account). Compartamos has more than 1000 simultaneous (concurrent) users in its Mexico and South America branches; this was taken in consideration in stress testing. Developed a custom extractor based on SAP ABAP/SQL to realize this deliverable. All report are based SAP Bex and BI Web Application designer

Al Futtaim implemented SAP IS Automotive ( one of many projects), This project is to incorporate the Automotive as part of the overall SAP system and transfer of the SAP IS-retail adopted previously to sell cars into the New SAP Automotive.

Duties and Accomplishments

•Proposed as Solution Architect and BW/BI Team lead an implementation solution at Al Futtaim Company to integrate the existing IS-retail automotive BW/BI with the new IS-automotive implementation in one BW/BI, including a historical data repository system

•This historical required a custom extractor development from legacy systems; Mr. Riahi completed analysis, design, development and extraction that included using SQL and programing efforts

•Provided BI solutions during the implementation and realization phase, following the business blue print documents as a basis

•This automotive BW project delivered a state of the art way in dealership reporting using the BI (reporting environment) to help the customer simplify the sales procedures and transform the Cycles of the business process

Duties and Accomplishments

•Helped in the preparation of the PoC project plan document and a statement of work with the pre-sale team in cooperation with the customer

•Helped the Basis team in the first PoC implementation of the servers (HANA database, HANA BW Application server and the selection of BW object on the customer Sand Box server)

•Controlled the pre-migration steps and the post-migration verification steps

•Created many SQL extract as part of the PoC in BW Transformation and in Native HANA to compare the response time

•Resolution of master data issue due to alteration of attributes

•Transforming business processes for reporting and analysis into viable BW/BI solutions for this project are realized by using all elements of the BW including reporting in billing process. This made the Business transformation major Goal achieved
