Roles and Responsibilities:

Understand and follow the work instructions given by the technical team lead in Bus Engineering department.

Development of master section for design creation of CAD model of plastic parts (Front and Rear Fascia, bumper, engine hood, etc.).

Creating B side surface from A & attachment features like dog house, ribs, bosses, snaps, locators and flanges with respect to environment data.

Managing design data and their related documents in Team centre.

Part development as per the norms AIS-052 & AIS-153.

Optimize design to reduce part weight and to meet CAE requirements.

To make multiple proposals for technical areas and make feasible CAD solutions.

To insure that there is easy fixture making for continuous production.

Style feasibility study by considering packaging, master sections & tooling feasibility.

Making bus structure fitment and installation 2D drawings from 3D as per standards.
