Title: Design of High Gain MIMO Antenna Employing Frequency Selective Surface
(FSS) for Wireless Applications
Overview
In this thesis all the simulation work has been done by CST microwave studio. The substrate used in design of MIMO Antenna is FR4 Epoxy with thickness 1.6 mm. To improve the isolation novel band stop filter is designed. By placing the Band Stop filter in between the two monopole antennas isolation has improved. Dual band dual polarized MIMO antenna with FSS is presented in this thesis work. Dual band dual polarized MIMO antenna find various applications in WLAN/WiMAX/ISM bands. To increase the gain frequency selective surface is used which is easy to design as compare to other technique such as dielectric slab dielectric electromagnetic band gap structure.
Dual band high gain MIMO antenna with frequency selective surface centered at 3.57 GHz and 6.05 GHz find application in WiMAX, WLAN and ISM. The main concern in this work is wideband antenna with high gain.
Multiband MIMO antenna has highly in demand due to transfer the data simultaneously with high speed. Triple band MIMO antenna has been designed and experimentally verified. The proposed design finds various application in WLAN/WiMAX and ISM applications. B.Tech
