Reviewing contracts, drawings, routings, purchase orders, shop instructions and various related production and development plans for quality requirements.

Verifying the incoming materials to meet the specifications.

Acting as an internal independent party for the verification of quality welds and ensuring the incoming materials meet the specification.

Checking for weld joint preparation, fit-up alignment, dimensional tolerances and visual check on weld.

Identify root cause and respond with corrective action.

Monitoring welder’s performance and welding procedures to check for compliance.

Briefing the Welders about WPS requirements and repair welding sequence .

Conducting Material Review sessions to review and temper Non-Conforming Material as suitable.

Develop and maintain positive relations and effectual communication lines with all functions, vendors and clients.

Prepare, supervise and report suitable and effectual metrics monitoring assigned processes effectiveness.

Support quality goals and objectives along with activities to identify, explain and resolve quality issues.

Documenting at every stage of inspection and reviewing.
