● The training material should be appropriate for the skill of the welder, i.e., plate material for inexperienced welders to perform fillets, and 2 side butt welds, before advancing onto pipe 6G or 6GR

● Structural welders should be trained to weld beam to beam connections; tubular TKY and other configurations to assure that welders reach a level or proficiency before assigning to yard.
