JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for smooth startup & shutdown of unit(Boiler/Turbine & other auxiliaries) whenever required & for giving proper instructions & guidance to subordinates of various areas such as Boiler, TG, DM, ESP, Ash plant & CHP for their efficient work for panel operations & site operations during normal running & plant emergency conditions.

Responsible for distribution of Steam, Water, & Power to respective departments

Involved in TPM (Total Productive maintenance) activity.

Find the possibilities of Up gradation of existing system to increase the reliability & efficiency of the same.

Scheduling the workers & guiding the staff members to address & resolve performance bottleneck.

Preparation of daily and monthly report.

Man power handling and proper utilization.

My Job responsibilities include Daily Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Shutdown Maintenance, Trouble shooting, Maintaining operation and Maintenance Records, Log sheets, Preparation of Monthly Maintenance Reports.

Supervising all operation and Maintenance activities of Boilers and Turbines, Auxiliaries of Boiler feed Pump, Fans, Ash Handling System, Coal Handling Plant, D.M water and Raw Water Plant, Cooling Tower.

Indenting and new coding of Material for Maintenance and smooth operation of Plant.

Looking after day to day Maintenance work of 23 MW Thermal Power Plant Consist of,

1.1x107 TPH at 84kg/cm and 480 C, AFBC Boiler

2.1x90 TPH at 84kg/cm and 480 C, AFBC Boiler

3.23 MW Extractions cum Condensing Turbine, Make BHEL.

4.70M /HR Capacity of Thermax Make DM Plant
