Job Title: (Motor Vehicle Operator)

Driver.

Job responsibilities

Driving to provide safe and comfortable transport services to the staffs and organization

●Fill/complete vehicle logbook (to track mileage and fuel expenses) before every take off and arrival at destinations.

●Observe all the road safety signs and regulations including obeying traffic lights at all times.

●Park vehicles at designated parking lots lock with steering/securities locks and keep a close range contact especially when on duty outside the office/base.

●Having the capacity for effective time management and demonstrating willingness and ability to adjust quickly to rapid changing priorities.

●Clean/wash the vehicle every morning before 8.00am and ensured that it is kept clean all the times.

●Conduct routine checks every morning before 8.00am.

●Ensure that the fuel gauge, engine oil, brake fluid oil, radiator water level and tyres are all in good condition before starting the vehicle.

Achievements

●I supported my project officer in all aspects to ensure that we achieve the project goals. I also spend some time supporting other projects when the need arises. I am always professionally dressed and address my colleagues in a good manner befitting the office environment,

●I ensured that every fuel purchased is from a recognized filling station and an official receipt is issued. Each fuel purchase is to be documented in the log book.

●I ensured that the vehicle particulars (license and insurance) are valid. Notify the supervisor at least 2 months before expiry.

●I reported immediately to the supervisor any observed mechanical and/or electrical fault(s).

●I followed up with the repairs (mechanic/engineer) and confirm that necessary repairs are done according to agreed terms.

Job responsibilities

●Report on duty according to the office prepared duty roster;

●Ensure that the assigned vehicle is clean and road worthy;

●To check the vehicle condition/requirement and fill the Log Book properly;

●Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of the assigned vehicle is taken place on

day-to-day and report to supervisors on time

●To drive office vehicle for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery/collection of mail, document, cargo and other items;

●Make field trips within the country including coverts and remote area

●Prepare monthly summary of oil consumption and reported to the supervisor

●Perform all other related duties
