Role and Responsibilities:
Deployments using SCCM with IIS installation and MY-SQL queries, Sequencing to be done using App-V 4.6 SP1 Sequencer for 13 plus EUC clients.
Functionality to check at XP-seq & Win-7 Sequencer machines.
Customizing .sprj, osd files as per client specifications.
Working on App-Sense methodology.
This project had involved the packaging of various applications from off-shore customers. For all these packages, MSI, MST had been created as per the customer requirements. The packages were created as per the guidelines provided by the customer. Various custom actions written using Set Property, Set Directory, External VB-Scripts, Windows Shell Scripts, and Embedded VB-Scripts. All these custom action had been used to grant NTFS Permissions on Files/Directories/Registry keys, to move files from one directory to other, to change contents of the files like services, hosts. For troubleshooting, various tools like RegMon.exe, FileMon.exe, and picture taker were used. The complete end to end solution for all our EUC stake holders.
Automated Software Package Deployment Experience in preparing standard software suites (Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, etc.) for automated deployment using an enterprise systems management platform. Tasks will include customization of .MSI files, building of configuration scripts, deployment testing, and package documentation.
MSI and EXE application packaging experience using Wise Package Studio, SMSInstaller, Install Shield, VB-script and / or PowerShell scripting is a plus.
Microsoft SCCM 2012 OSD (Operating System Deployment) technical experience is required
Strong scripting skills using VBScript and/or PowerShell.
