President and CEO Bhupesh Wadhawan, with whom I had previously worked at STG, asked me to falsely claim that Link had experience in support areas we’d never worked in order to qualify for a Federal Government contracting schedule (GSA 8(a) STARS). “Just make it up,” he said. “Our customers love us and will sign off on anything.” My refusal ultimately led to my being fired.
Link graduated from 8(a) in 2016.
In November 2017, Wadhawan was convicted in Federal court and sentenced to five years in prison for paying bribes to a civilian employee at Aberdeen Proving Ground who was in position to steer work to Link Solutions.
