Indus Towers, Manager SCM (Capex, Logistics + Warehouse Procurement) - Apr’08 to Dec’09:
Procurement of Technology Products - IT – Hardware, Software and Services, managing a yearly procurement budget of USD 40 Mn. Handling the entire procurement cycle (P2P) including managing the supply chain of products for timely and efficient deliveries.
Responsible for CAPEX / OPEX procurement of Tower, DG, Shelter, AC and Mobile BTS. Finalize Supply, Installation and AMC contracts for the same to ensure optimum price at the procurement stage itself.
Developed alternate suppliers for Shelters and Cables and achieved cost saving of 10% over the existing contracts.
Identified and developed micro warehouses in Tier 2 cities for short durations to support the project implementations.
