Duties & Responsibilities
•To study all updated GFC drawings and roll out major process changes & ensure all the Work methods are as required by the specifications on daily basis
•To conduct 10 minutes tool box, talk with all workmen regarding safety and HIRA before starting of the work
•To plan material, manpower and specialized agencies in advance. At the end of the day to plan and organize material, manpower and tool and tackles for the next day in consultation with their site In -charges
•To extract the productivity from all work men with respect to the quantities to be achieved for the day
•To check the lines and Levels for Concreting works and Finishing works with reference to the work procedures
•To Coordinate With respective EI/FPS/P&S/MEP engineers for checking the conduits, Junction boxes and other MEP works
•To Control the wastage of materials like cement, sand, bricks, tiles etc. All wastages should be within permissible limits
•Supervise the site and make sure that they meet architect specifications.
•Supervising and counseling juniors.
•Tracking materials movements and inspections.
•Liaising with the project planning engineer regarding construction programs.
•Checking materials and work progress for compliance with the specified requirements
•Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, subcontractors.
•Quality control, quality plans and inspection and test plans all prepared by the project management and by the subcontractors.
•Measurement and evaluation (in collaboration with the project quantity surveyor where appropriate).
•Preparing record drawings, technical report, site diary.
