Maintain and practice good housekeeping and safety on a regular basis and Inspect, lubricate and perform troubleshooting to ensure production is not hampered. Weld and ﬁt conveyor belt head and tail guards to eliminate injuries.Replace sprocket, bearings, chain, single and multi V-belt drives. And Join them by means of mechanical splicing. Resets, troubleshoot variable speed drives and adjusts conveyors tension.Perform fault ﬁnding by means of testing instruments and replace defectctive components such as limit switch, inductive and reactive sensors,solenoids, buttons, relays,contactors, motors, rectiﬁers,breakers and fuses.

Test and replace ballasts,switches in order to ensure illumination is present throughout the factory.Conduct termination,cable joints during installation of new machines or shutdown and modiﬁcations.

Maintain overhead cranes and replace bearings, ropes, motors, control buttons and gearbox on them.

Perform fault ﬁnding in compress and conduct minor and major services and inspect ﬂow line for any leakage.Correct backlash on gear drives and ﬁt, align drive shafts by means of Dial test indicator.

Replace and ﬁll up oil in gearboxes, inspect pumps,impellers,glands and packings.Replace defective ﬂywheel jaw clutches, mechanical coupling, brakes shoes and callipers. 0perate power tools such as bench and surface grinders, electrical pipe threader.Maintain and operate overhead crane for lifting heavy objects.

Conduct SLAM and adhere for health safety when performing daily task.Ensure ﬁre detection, gas suppression system,high velocity deluge valve and hose rackon conveyor belt,MCC rooms,eating area and rescue bay are in good working condition underground and on surface plants. Inspect and replace damaged valve, sprinkler nozzles,clamp ons,U-bolts,pressure gauge,secure locks chain. Modify by means of trimming and grooving pipes,install and Joins pipes by means of angle degrees,coupling, unions,T-pices,sockets and dead end pipes lines by means of plug or caps.

Replace heat sensors detectors, linear cable,backup batteries,actuators,alarm gongs and sirens.Resets panels after system discharged,replace foam cylinder,pilot cylinder and manifolds supply pipes and defective diodes.

Inspect pump house for leakage,malfunctioning, replace defects components and packing.Prime the pump on electrical and diesel operated system ﬁr every ﬁfteen minutes. Ensure charger and discharge valve are open and supply are full at the all times. KOLOMELA KUMBA IRON ORE(TALISMAN)
