Barrage capacity is 7.65 TMC with 74 GATES

Dhola and Sadia Bridge Project: Construction of length 9.15KM Bridge ( SEGMENTAL BRIDGE) between Dhola and Sadia Ghats along with two lane connecting roads (NH-37) from near about Dhola to Islampur Tinali in Assam

(approximately 28.50km) on build, operate and transfer (BOT) Annuity basis under Arunachal Pradesh Package of Road and Highways.

Cost of Project: INR 1000 crores.

Company: Navayuga Engineering Company Limited.

Client: Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. (MoRT&H).

IE: S.N.Bhobe & Associates Pvt. Ltd. in association with Voyants solutions Pvt. Ltd.

EPC Contractor: Navayuga Engineering Company Ltd. Duties and Responsibilities:

Soil: Sampling and conduct testing borrow area samples (Tests: Proctor (MDD & OMC), California bearing ratio (CBR), Grain size analysis (GSA), liquid limit & plastic limit

(LL&PL), and free swelling index (FSI), etc...).

GSB: Sampling and conduct GSB sample.( Proctor (MDD & OMC), California bearing ratio (CBR), Grain size analysis (GSA), liquid limit & plastic limit (LL&PL).

Compaction test at site (Tests: sand replacement method and core cutter method) (OGL, Embankment, sub-grade and GSB).

WMM & BC.

Cement & Concrete: Cement physical tests (Fineness, consistency, Initial & final setting time) & Cement mortar cube compressive strength. And for Concrete Conduct individual gradation of Coarse and fine aggregate, Flakiness-elongation index, combined gradation and Aggregate impact value test (AIV) And Check at site workability and cubes cast at site and conduct compressive strength.

Mastic: Conduct individual gradation of Coarse and fine aggregate & lime. And also conduct Binder content, Flakiness-elongation index, Aggregate impact value test (AIV) and at site temp check. Bitumen Tests: penetration, softening point.

Perform site visits to ensure that the technicians are performing the test in accordance with the standards test method. Approval of the test reports related to the material testing.

Supervise the overall activities in the material division preparation of material, submittals, review, approval & Preparation of concrete mix design and final reporting to senior material engineer recommendations.

Daily site inspection and check on site work elements and verifying quality of work, recommend solutions for quality improvement.

Dealing with clients during the materials testing, supervision includes all the test in aggregates, soil, cement, concrete and Mastic asphalt etc.

Guiding and monitoring the activities of the laboratory staff and site staff.

Preparing and conducting daily laboratory activities.

Conducts trial mix for Research and Development.

Check & Inspect all project materials intended to be used for the Project as per Client’s Requirements.

Implementation of the quality management & control Programme for the project.

Prepare and conduct Mix design of Concrete (Coarse & Fine aggregates all tests), Cement Tests, Mix design of Grouting and Mastic Asphalt with IS codes.

Inspect and witness all material testing in the laboratory in accordance with the Specifications and quality standards.

Ensuring that all QA/QC tests are carried out on time & in full.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.

Keeping all QA/QC records, documentation and data up to date.

Responsible for all aspects related to project QA/QC.

Plan and internal and external quality audits as well analyze the results, issue audit reports followed by the assessment, monitoring and verification of the implementation of corrective actions.
