As Head Football Coach at Denver South High School - took over a troubled program at South after previous coaching staff had a gun pulled by a coach on the practice field. Hired and managed the entire program including fundraising. Raised over $500,000 in assets including the donation of a brand new weight room by Bally Fitness. There are no booster clubs allowed in the Denver Public Schools so Coach Mullaney literally did this all by himself. Placed 35 players in collegiate programs including 16 at the Division I level including Calais Campbell, current defensive tackle and Pro Bowl nominee for the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL).
