Developed and installed Subsea Oil & Gas Infrastructure, including Rigid / Flexible Pipeline, SCR, ILS, PLET, Heavy Lift, Umbilical, and Jumpers. Interfaced with relevant disciplines and support functions, such as installation / structural analysis, operations, ROV, drafting, planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure project requirements were met. Mentored and trained engineers to upskill team and increase capacity for optimal productivity.

Led Engineering Team to deliver Technical and Commercial Documentation during Golfinho Project Tender. Negotiated Final Scope of Work for a successful Project Award > $2.0B.

Planned and executed >$1.0B Trinidad BP Juniper Project and assisted Project Manager to reduce total man-hours by 25%.

Designed and optimized Golfinho Project Field Lay out (Drill centers, Manifolds, PLEMs, PLET, Pipe Lay routes, etc.) Proposed Field Lay out was “Approved for Construction” by Client.

Optimized SPS scope and Material Take off for Golfinho Project. Involved with Manifold / Pile design, fabrication, and SIT. Developed Logistics Plan for Manifold SIT with $1M savings.

Optimized Manifold / Pile Preparation Pack and Preventive Maintenance at SURF Shore Base for MWCC Project. Client approved readiness plan with significant $0.5 M savings.

Adopted new welding technology for S-lay pipeline installation involving large diameter, which reduced downtime and optimized BP Juniper execution schedule by 7 days ($3.5M savings).

Generated LLOG Delta House Objective Bonus Program for Offshore Crew to incentive Safety, Quality, and Production. Program was adapted and saved 21 days of vessel time ($10.5M savings).

Developed SIMOPS Plan for Projects and strengthened solutions by reducing number of vessels in field and duration of Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) to maximize offshore client-assets.

Successfully planned and coordinated detailed aspects of engineering work (CTR’s, Method Statements, Installation Schedules, Material Requisition, Request for Quote, Logistics, Drawings, etc.) as part of the budgetary stage for tender and projects.

Installed multiple ILSs (In-line structures) and PLETs with S-lay vessel and saved >$2M during $1B development for PDVSA Dragon Field, Venezuela.

Coordinated essential operations, such as SIMOPS and SCRs hang-off to Delta House host to deliver ultra-deep-water solution >6,000 ft. in depth.

Coordinated full EPCI scope of work for design, fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning of UTA Mud mats with CDU’s / RDU’s in Matapal field.

Collaborated with Pipeline Production Group team in Asia Pacific and supported activities related to pipelay SOW to design, fabricate, and transport permanent equipment suitable for installation.

Led integrated engineering, procurement, construction, and installation that reduced number of vessels required to complete scope of work.

Senior Project Engineer, Dec' 2009 to Dec’2011

Developed and supervised deep / shallow water pipe-lay and construction operations within time and budget. Included load test procedures for all mission equipment onboard the new built vessels Global 1200 / 1201.

Managed shallow water pipe lay operations to accelerate Pemex export pipeline production. Project delivered 2 months ahead of schedule.

Coordinated full EPCI scope of work for design, fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning of two rigid jumpers with connectors for two infield lines in Atlantis field.

Supervised deep water pipe lay and construction activities onboard pipelay vessel G1200 and LCV Orion during LLOG Who Dat Project. Manifold installation delivered ahead of schedule.

Refined onshore testing before performing offshore critical operations, which minimized downtime for field operations by 25% and kept Pemex KMZ 56-57 project under budget by $15M.

Reduced engineering man-hours >25% in G1200 / G1201 Vessel Project and successfully performed load testing of all mission equipment in coordination with shipyard personnel.
