Review:
The Booth encoding method is one of the algorithms to obtain partial products. With this method, the number of partial products decreases down to the half compared to the AND array method. The circuit area of the multiplier designed with the Booth encoder method is compared to that designed with the AND array method. The area, delay and power performance of the booth encoder and modified Booth Encoder have been evaluated from the simulated output analysis shows that modified Booth encoder implemented is better compared to booth encoder. 2. Design and Implementation of an Efficient Embedded Cryptography Algorithm using FPGA. (Bachelor of Engineering)
Review:
This project proposes a new embedded encryption algorithm based on linear feedback shift register. Because the algorithm is only composed by some basic operations such as the XOR and displacement, FPGA coprocessor with high performance and price ratio is adopted, through which our algorithm can achieve low cost and high speed in FPGA implementation. The experimental results show, compared with other known encryption algorithms, our algorithm has better performance on the whole, in particular the safety performance greatly outperforming other algorithms.
